Mainly I was doing I I did a lot of scuba diving boats where I would help them. Uh, I was actually talking about it the other day, but, um, how long do you stay in? She get mad at you? And Id get done at, like, five. I mean, hes this old, you know, this whole pirate or not, Pirate is this old boat captain, you know, from back in the day, and and to see him nervous about and he told me hes like, Yeah, if they just dump us overboard and they show up in whatever port they can say that they found it and then they sell it, and thats how they make their money. We started out in my grandparents garage in Salem, and we had to get out of there and moved to my moms shed. And then at some point, this thing is growing. Businesses I really take pleasure from helping other people build. Are you the type of person who wants to get 100% out of your time, talent and ideas? But then that made me realize that maybe we could get these into retail stores and my moms neighbour. And then the very next month, we need another two million, you know? We figured out, like, what do you do to, you know, build a fence? Oh, seven, which I always kind of got a kick out of its like people say, Well, how big a planes did you fly it and say, Well, equivalency of the 707 and not everybody knows what is seven. Okay, well, why like tell me the truth, I said, Lets tell you the truth. So what made you get to the point where you said I got? And so we stood out next to the train tracks with, uh, with a little Rubbermaid table and from the sign company, we knew about branding and printing. And I was I was sitting on a 10,000 square foot, five year lease. Im really grateful for you, Sharon being open and sharing the true story. I didnt know how retail worked and he said, Well, you know, I need 12 bottles and Ill go out and sell them into the retail stores And I said, Well, you know, we only had, like, maybe 200 left. I had no idea what it sells. So we were in the newspaper as a, you know, a new startup business. Outgrew that really quickly when the 20,000 came in. Cool. Um, on on a whole host of things. So, what were you doing? But when you asked if it worked, did you mean that. Were done. Well, then Im going to do that. And thats how he came up. I was like, Well, what about a water bottle. Um, and, you know, I was like, God, what? And man did I love it. Yeah, and so he did. Yeah. But its kind of fun to say that I flew something equivalent to a seven something. Its just what do you do with it once you got it is the kind of decider. Thats when it kind of hit me like Okay, Yeah. And I didnt actually, my heart wasnt in it. So it was like, Okay, well, I dont have 250 grand. So I took off to Oahu, and as soon as the door opened on the plane, I could just feel the Aloha. Which was you took a Falcon 10 international. And if its, you know, if I did, it was R and B, and, uh, you know, I cant exchange R and B for food and went to the cash jury when that cash was gone. Okay, so I went forward and met with him and he says, Hey, I want to work here I said, Well, and I didnt tell them we were closing, but this was on a Wednesday and I was getting ready to close on Friday and and just completely shut down. And they did. We went back to Oahu, opened up a lot. Well, I so no, I was not worried. So I and my my friend had this small seven and he was an instructor, and I wanted to fly or whatever, but we would just fly at water level. Because I know you have an interesting story too, about somehow. But at that moment that that like like youre describing, I can actually remember that when I met my now wife because I can remember her shoot. We sold the company within a week because again everything was going up in the building sector and moved to Maui and then moved on over to Oahu. And I knew that business. And the guy said, Well, you know, we pulled him because there might be this thing in plastic. How thats going to make is that coming back by the way it is. The other side of that, I guess thats not a misnomer, because its true. I never got a T shirt. TRAVIS has 1 job listed on their profile. Now Im still getting feedback, but I dont know. And so what do you Where do you go to sell them? Um, but what happened was 11 months in. Do you have a desk at the factory? The whole thing would go it just mess up the whole entire 12 ft banner. Um, the first kind of hustle that I had was I got held back in first grade because I started first grade too early. The governor lived at the top. I have not been in the sign industry for years or ever, but I know I hear the word plotter. And that put me in 49% And 49% is when the you know, I only jokingly have to say that the forklift came in and dropped off the corporate playbook and I look at this playbook that was 8000 pages long, and he says you stay here another four years. Rosbach admitted he's more concerned about keeping Mary Anne happy, noting, "If she's got a smile on her face my day is complete.". I just I just said it was going to be and they just made it happen. What happened was we ordered 3000, but we ran out of money and we moved back to bend and moved in with my mom, and we had no money. It just seemed play was healthy and outdoors. And I dont want to cut smoking cannabis. And I opened up the book and I looked at it the first page. Moreover, Rosbach believes the time the couple spends apart while he is away at work has actually strengthened their marriage rather than weaken it, which is in direct opposition to the reality series' almost resolutely all-single cast. All right. She showed up, and, um, but we just We were running so thin, we had the her car got repossessed. Excuse me in Tortola. Um, thats kind of how the V I went, the dive shop would get broken into quite often, and we finally got an alarm. I dont know if it gets real bad, we can reconnect. Okay, Well, I just wanted to fill that chapter and because I You got all this stuff that So you did Australia. I mean, I was I was in China, probably three times last year just by March until no more. And then the following week, somebody came up and said, Hey, I saw you in the newspaper. And so they sent the 1500 pretty quick because they were ready to go. And, uh, it was I mean, you know, a water bottle is $5.5 dollars and 50 cents, but you times that by 20,000, and that adds up pretty quick. Im sorry um, I would say that if you get a calling to do something, do it because it will be hard and it will get harder and unseen. I was, and I and the irony of it was was that I had used that money to start a new company, and I was sleeping on a friends floor in a sleeping bag with no bed. No, I owned the company and she called her husband over, and her husband started to cry at the owner. But our overhead was pretty huge, like we had to get out of my moms, um, shed pretty darn quick. Theres no American made metal, stainless steel, double wall, vacuum insulated bottles made in China and anywhere else besides China. I literally walked in. Gosh, those were the best. One of our clients for customers was a guy who would do sort of like business field trips to the Canton Fair. They did not want to extend the line of credit, and that was really that was really tough. How hard could it be? And so, um, in the interim, I took a job selling, you know, there was a fancy title like exotic luxury, pre owned vehicles like Mercedes and BMW and Ferrari. And on the one at the from the school, I wrote down five or whatever it was, but the one that I took out to the rest of the world to go collect my money. Therefore, she never took half of the money. Got it! In 2009, Capt.
